May 15, 2008 | With over 5 Million French albums sold worldwide, Francophone artist Garou, released his first English CD, 'Piece Of My Soul', on May 6th, 2008 and today bursts onto the Nielsen SoundScan chart at #2, between Madonna and Neil Diamond! To top it off, 'Piece Of My Soul' has also been certified GOLD in Canada!

Garou's first English single "Stand Up", written by Matchbox Twenty leader Rob Thomas, continues to gain momentum at radio, and moves to # 3 on the Top 100 BDS Anglophone chart in Quebec and #19 on the National AC audience chart (BDS).

Since Garou's debut on the music scene over 10 years ago, he has been a tour de force commanding sold out audiences, selling millions of albums worldwide and dazzling the theatre and music industries with his powerful vocals and superior showmanship. March 11, 2008 | Garou will be releasing his very first English-language album this spring! Starting on March 17, radio stations across Canada will begin cycling Garou's first single from his upcoming English album, 'Piece Of My Soul.' The first single, entitled ''Stand Up,'' was written by Rob Thomas of MATCHBOX TWENTY, and will give fans a small taste of what's to come when the album hits stores in early May. March 7, 2008 | The special charity concert, 'Les Enfoirés 2008,' will be airing on TF1 tonight! Tune in to see Garou's performance along with many other great artists in support of the ''Les Restos du Coeur" organization. A 2-disc CD and a 2-disc DVD of the charity concert will also be available starting today! All proceeds will go to the "Les Restos du Coeur" charity.
